Many years ago being an overseas student in a foreign country made me realise how important it was to have a suitable place to stay. Some years later, back in England, we had students staying with us from time to time.

I fully understand that as a student, you need a comfortable, quiet and pleasant place to stay and get on with your studies, and enjoy life at the same time.

Having lived in, and visited many European and Asian countries, I believe we have some understanding of different cultures and customs. We strongly believe in promoting international friendship & understanding and can be a welcoming host.

Both Pouran and I have long experience in international business management, engineering and college lecturing (I may even be able to help you with some of your assignments!!). Pouran is also an internationally qualified YOGA coach. If you are so inclined you can participate in her Yoga & meditation classes. Or you can play chess or backgammon. We are interested in gardening, walking, cooking, classical/pop music and of course watching television.

We don't have any political/religious affiliations, but we are interested in what heppens in the world. As someone with an environmental engineering background, I have an interest in keeping the environment alive for a few more years.

We are an easy-going family, quiet and fairly tidy. We like you to try to be the same, after all, you will be a member of our family for a time, and hopefully stay long time friends.

We are offering a comfortable room with creature comforts, with a view to the front garden, access to a largish back garden, and located in a cul-de-sac road with no traffic.

We look forward to having you with us.

P.S. You will be about forty (40) minutes from Victoria University, thirty-five (35) minutes from ILSC Melbourne, thirty (30) minutes from Sunshine College of Management & thirty-five (35) minutes from City/CBD, ... Via bus & train. Public library is about 18 minutes by foot, and two (2) major shopping centres (Altona Gate & Millers Junction) are 5 and 20 minutes walking distance, (or by public transport).
