Inner city Northcote Homestay ( Rooms currenlty available on March 9 and April 28 2024 ) which has great access to train station (3mins) tram and bus. A quick 12-15 mins ride to the city -so great access to most Uni's and colleges. Very well located for transport to Latrobe Uni Bundoora or RMIT .Melbourne Uni and all city campuses

We host female International students over 18

We have been Homestay Hosts for over 25 years and have had the privilege of hosting many wonderful students whom we have formed lifelong friendships with. We have students staying from 2 months up to 4 years depending on individual needs . The time frame is flexible - As our homestay environment is very welcoming and friendly we often find students extend their stay or return ( after further travel) We take great delight in the friendships formed and remain in touch long after the homestay . We have assisted students staying short term - to those who extend their visa's or engage in further university study , IELTS test preparation and Permanent Residency

Before booking a Homestay as experience hosts we would advise

* Check your Hosts have working with children certification, current police checks and first aid certificates which all good home stays should have.

* Check the Homestay is an authentic Australian Homestay to enable you to learn and experience your host countries culture

* Check if your Homestay are affiliated with schools and English Language Institutes

* Check the location of the Homestay and local amenities and whether its is a quiet and peaceful environment with good air quality

* Check that your hosts have relevant experience and offer English language support ( if required)

These checks will ensure your Homestay provider is authentic, accredited with relevant certificates , affiliated with schools and english language institutes
and a legitimate and experienced Homestay to ensure quality of Homestay ( Beware of cheap providers who do not fulfil the above criteria and exploit the Homestay Industry by offering rooming services )

We understand the issues students face in their transition to study in Australia so offer much support, guidance and care in a relaxed and very friendly environment.

We offer English language support and tutoring (if required) to ensure that when you return home your English has significantly improved

We encourage our students to really enjoy the unique opportunity they have whilst studying in Melbourne and ensure they have independence
and flexibility as you need when abroad

We host over 18 year old students -and under 18 yo students on arrangement
