My husband and I have been hosting homestay students for about 30 years. We love learning about other cultures and sharing our own with people from other countries. Our lives have been made richer by these experiences and we have made lasting friendships with our students and their families. We have visited many European, Asian, Scandinavian, MIddle Eastern and American cities, and have lived in Hong Kong, America and the UAE. We both love reading, traveling and sailing And I love walking! The main rule we have for our house is that we all need to respect and care for each other at all times. We have both worked in literacy education during our careers and both have experience and qualifications in teaching English. We are always available to help our students with their studies and in particular their knowledge of English. We have a very happy home and many of our students have stayed with us for several years. Our home is in a very quiet, friendly and safe area, and shops, cafes and transport are within a 2 minute walk.
