We have been hosting international students for more than 15 years mainly from China for our local university but time to time we have hosted working holiday makers when the university is on summer holiday.
We have 2 teenage children, a girl and a boy with our small friendly dog who stays outside.
We love sports(particularly football/soccer and Australian football), music(both kids play piano and my husband plays guitar) and travelling to know other cultures.
We are happy to show you Australian cultures and want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable in our house.
I, as a host mother, love to take you out to local markets, nature walks, sightseeing etc. whenever I can.
As I'm from Japan and my husband is from India, we cook different cuisine from Japanese, Indian, Chinese to all other Western food(our kids prefer Western food) every night and I can make your lunch too if required.
I'm more than happy to cook dinner with you if you wish to lean new skills. Both of our kids have started to learn cooking recently and each of them cooks a meal once a week for us.
We believe staying homestay environment helps to not only learn English faster but also understand different cultures better, so come and stay with us!
